changelog
Changelog
Releases, documentation updates, protocol changes, and trust milestones for Perathos and the open VRL Protocol. Public entries avoid implying controls, certifications, or legal commitments that have not been completed.
Trust surface expanded and public claims tightened
Refactored the marketing site to remove unverifiable customer, legal, security, uptime, and deployment claims. Published trust, security, responsible AI, status, data retention, subprocessor, security contact, and procurement questionnaire pages. Legal pages now distinguish procurement information from signed agreements and mark deployment-dependent controls clearly.
Latency, streaming, rate limits, and fail policy documented
Documentation now explains verification latency, streaming trade-offs, rate limits, idempotency semantics, and degraded-mode behavior. Provider registration language is framed as deployment-dependent so customer-approved provider configuration can be confirmed during onboarding.
VRL Protocol organization pinned and README published
The vrl-protocol GitHub organization overview pins the public repositories for the specification, SDKs, server components, and registry, with an organization README explaining the protocol.
vrl-protocol/spec v0.1.4
Specification release v0.1.4. Aligned SDK and server proof-path semantics; doc-only changes to the proof bundle field reference. Pre-GA: breaking changes may occur prior to v1.0.
Documentation site published
Initial public documentation: Quickstart, VRL Proof Bundle schema reference, API reference, and verdict threshold configuration.
Cadence
We publish material public changes here as they ship, especially when trust, documentation, or protocol behavior changes.
